Race to Nationals; the Showdown Looms
PITTSBURGH, PA : The Xtreme Racing Series’ inaugural event at Anderson Motor Speedway (SC) is just sixteen days from now, with early bird registration ending tonight at midnight. Starting July 30th, entry fees will be bumped up from $100 to $135. After August 10th, registration will only be available at the track.
The Xtreme Racing Series will also be hosting an open practice from 12 – 4 P.M. for $70/car, allowing competitors to prepare not only for the XRS event but for Legends Nationals as well. This open practice session will take place the day of the Showdown.
The Showdown at Sundown will take place on Friday, August 14th, and a full race day schedule is currently available on the Xtreme Racing Series website under the competitors tab. Gates will open at 10 A.M., with on-track action commencing at noon and running until late in the evening. The Xtreme Racing Series will also have a booth on-hand for t-shirt sales, and LegendsNation.com will be in attendance as well.
The Xtreme Racing Series would also like to give a big thank you to its presenting sponsor, C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause, Inc. C.A.R.S. will be track-side along with a group of children eager to see race cars and drivers up close. The XRS Staff is encouraging donations of all kinds for these young race fans. Whether its memorabilia or a monetary contribution, all gestures are welcomed and much appreciated.
