The lower 48 of the United States of America is not the only place that the INEX Legend Cars competes in. Legend cars race across the globe and is growing in places like Australia, South Africa and Scandinavia. There are also many Legend and Bandolero races across the Great White North country of Canada, including the popular Maritime League of Legends Tour.
The Maritime League of Legends Tour competes at tracks such as Petty International Raceway, Scotia Speedworld, Atlantic Motorsports Park and Riverside International Raceway in Canada.
In Australia, Legend Cars is a new and growing form of Motorsports with races held on both dirt and asphalt tracks across the country. While they are primarily held on dirt and clay ovals, there has recently been interest in asphalt race tracks as well. The Australian Legend Car season continues this weekend at Valvoline Raceway with the Sydney Track Championship round #9 this Saturday, March 5th.
The United Kingdom has held Legend car racing on road courses since the late 1990s. John Mickel took home the 2015 championship and the 2016 season begins on March 27th and 28th at Brands Hatch.
With the growing popularity and interest around the globe in the Legend car racing form, LN has created a Master Schedule section for just the International racing events. While this list is still new, as LN receives race information we will add it to the Master Schedule section and include more news stories from around the world of INEX racing.
