(Eddie Fatscher with driver coach and SRM crew member Carson Ferguson)
CONCORD, NC : One driver is already making a big name for himself so far during this very young racing season. Originally from East Northport, NY, 13-year old Eddie Fatscher has scored a big start this season in a quest to become the 2016 U.S. Legend Cars/INEX Young Lions National Champion.
Fatscher has joined with Legend car set-up and driving star in his own right Steven Ross Motorsports for the full season. Along with Ross, 2011 Bandolero Bandits and 2014 Legends Young Lions National Champion Carson Ferguson is helping Fatscher with his driving and learning about the cars by helping Ross on the crew. Fatscher is in good hands as Ferguson is the first driver to win the Young Lions Asphalt, Dirt and Road Course national events in the same season, a goal he accomplished in 2014.
Fatscher, in his first full season racing Legend cars, already has an impressive 10 victories so far this season. Among his accomplishment so far this year include the 2016 INEX Winter Nationals Young Lions championship and the 2016 INEX Battle at the Big Top Young Lions championship.
Fatscher was a special guest on PRN at the Track’s weekly show with host Lenny Batycki this week.
