“We’ve been extremely pleased with our partnership with LegendsNation and feel it’s only appropriate that the most prestigious Legend and Bandolero event of the year has them involved on both the news and production side for fans and families of U.S. Legend Cars racing,” said Laila Razmyar, Events and Communications Manager for U.S. Legend Cars International. “Since the launch of LNTV, the feedback we have received from competitors and fans has been overwhelming. We can think of no one better to assist us in bringing Legend and Bandolero racing to the next level than LegendsNation.”
LegendsNation.com was originally launched in 2007 as a news and entertainment website around Legend car racing. Since that time, it has changed owners on two occasions and is now owned and maintained by long-time Legend car enthusiast Brian Nagy. Nagy partnered with Pit Row Media to create the LNTV platform in the fall of 2016.
“We’ve been working behind the scenes to slowly build LegendsNation.com to the news and content site it had the potential to become back in 2007,” Nagy said. “With the addition of live and on-demand video, it has become the go-to source for all things related to Legend, Bandolero and Thunder Roadster racing. We have rebranded the site as the place competitors, families and fans come to see industry news, trends and relevant content they ask for, including live and on-demand race broadcasts like the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout. We hope this is the next step in a long partnership not only with USLCI, but also with Charlotte Motor Speedway.”
Each broadcast of the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout will begin no later than opening ceremonies of each race night, approximately 7pm ET. To view live (or on-demand) video of the event, users can point their browsers to www.legendsnation.tv.
In addition to the live stream from LNTV, Speedway TV will once again produce a 30-minute highlight show each week airing on national cable and satellite television network MAVtv. Cable and satellite users are encouraged to upgrade their subscriptions if they do not currently subscribe to MAVtv through their cable or satellite provider.
Tickets for the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout are still available by calling 1-800-455-FANS, visiting the track ticket office, or by logging onto CharlotteMotorSpeedway.com.
