TY CROES : Irish Legends head to beautiful Anglesey circuit this weekend Saturday May 26th and Sunday May 27th for their double-header away rounds. They will be joining their Scottish counterparts for 6 races to make up a 24 car field, 7 of which come from the Irish Championship. At the end of the meeting there will be a special 7th race – a nations cup race between the UK Championship runners as well as the aforementioned Scots and Irish.
Championship leaders Paul O’Brien and Geoff Richardson will once again battle it out to see who will leave with the advantage come Sunday evening.
Current lap record holder, James Holman, makes his season debut this weekend, and with some excellent results from his time in the UK Nationals, so he will undoubtedly be a strong favourite for the nations cup race representing the Irish series.
Ian Conroy will be looking to build on his strong final race form from Kirkistown where he took the lap record, whilst Johnny Taylor, Greg Richardson and Colm O’Sullivan will look to crack into podium contention over the course of the weekend.
It promises to be an exciting weekend of wheel to wheel racing! Look out for updates on our Facebook (Irish Legends) and Twitter (@IrishLegends) pages.
