SHENANDOAH, VA : This Saturday night the INEX Legends and Bandoleros will compete on a special night. Bandolero driver Logan Clark began the non-profit foundation Care 4 Empty Hearts when he was only in the third grade. The foundation uses donations to purchase food, clothing and toys for children in need around the world.
On Saturday night, July 14th, Shenandoah Speedway presents Care4EmptyHearts night at the picturous track in Virginia. On top of a full schedule of racing action, the track will hold a 50/50 raffle and collecting new or gently used pair of shoes for donations to those in need. Those bringing the pair of shoes donation will receive admission at half price.
Legends and Bandolero drivers are also racing for extra prizes and purse money this weekend. The Legends feature winner will take home $1,000, with $500 going to second and $275 to the third place finisher.
Max Papis Innovations, MPI, has also stepped up in a big way for the Bandolero drivers this weekend. The winner of the Bandolero feature will receive a free MPI steering wheel and a box of Bandolero parts that is valued at $200. The track is looking to have 15 or more cars in the Bandolero classes to support this effort. CMG Motorsports is also giving the 4th place finisher $50 and the 8th place finisher $25 in gift cards.
