TUCSON, AZ : Midway through the 2018 season, the points race at Tucson Speedway is heating up amongst Bandolero and Legend drivers.
Just three points separate Bandit points leader Anika O’Brien and Keirsten Jones; Ricky De Le Ree passed David Levitt in the Legends points opening his lead to six points; and Outlaw drivers Adam Farr and Andrew De Le Ree have only 12 points between them with Farr in the lead.
In the Bandit division of the Bandoleros, Rookie Keirstin Jones took the lead at the start of the main event. She lost the lead midway through the race to eight-year-old Rookie Landen Mros.
Keirstin Jones finished second, Devin Jones took third and Anika O’Brien finished fourth.
Outlaw rookie Adam Farr drove is No. 23 car to its third consecutive victory. Rookie Andrew De Le Ree finished second.
Mike Webber had the early lead in the Legend main event, but lost it to Ricky De Le Ree on lap two. Jordan Holloway took second from Webber on lap five, setting his sights on teammate De Le Ree who had opened up a comfortable lead on the field.
By lap 13, Holloway closed the gap on De Le Ree and took the lead for his first win at Tucson Speedway.
