HARRISBURG, NC : The annual Christmas Day release by U.S. Legend Cars International of the upcoming national event locations and dates is the present once again this year. Unlike in the past years of competition there is a slight change to the championship in regards to the Bandolero divisions. For the past two seasons there has been a point tie for the overall champion, but with the drivers in the western portion of North America unable to travel, USLCI has split the Bandoleros and created an Eastern and Western National Champion for 2019.
The 22nd annual INEX Bandolero Nationals, which is now the Eastern Division will take place over Labor Day weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The racing will take place on Saturday, August 31st and Sunday, September 1st on the quarter-mile oval. Racing will take place later in the day with more details to be released in the upcoming months. This will be the sixth time in the 22 years of the Bandolero Nationals that it will be held at the Hampton, Georgia track, which has hosted the event the most times in history.
The first INEX Bandolero Nationals for the Western Division track and date will be announced sometime during the first month of the year.
Building off a successful and exciting dirt Legends season in 2018, in which close to 70 cars traveled to York Haven, Pennsylvania in October for INEX Dirt Nationals, the annual championship weekend returns to the Midwest for the 2019 season. As in 2016, 141 Speedway located in Maribel, Wisconsin, which is just 30 miles southeast of Green Bay will be the host track for the 23rd Annual USLCI Dirt Nationals. The 2019 INEX Dirt Nationals will take place on September 19th, 20th and 21st.
Both the Road Course World Finals and Legends Asphalt Nationals shift some 2,000 plus miles back east for the 2019 championship season. The “Crystal Coast” will host the INEX Legends Asphalt Nationals for the first time at Bobby Watson’s Carteret County Speedway in Swansboro, North Carolina. Carteret County Speedway has put a growing effort into the Legends class since the track’s inception in 2015 by hosting several big money paying events. Drivers will all converge to the 4/10ths flat mile on October 17th, 18th and 19th, 2019 to crown USLCI national champions.
The Road Course World Finals will see a vastly different race track than in 2018. After teams headed to the relatively flat desert 2.4-mile course at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the 2019 RCWF will be held on the 2 mile long, 16 turn Atlanta Motorsports Park just outside of Dawsonville, Georgia. The track features 98 feet of elevation change with two of the world’s most famous track’s being incorporated into the design. Eau Rouge from the legendary Spa-Francorchamp circuit in Belgium and the famous Carousel corner from Germany’s Nürburgring track are part of the 16 challenging corners on the course. The 2019 INEX Road Course World Finals takes place over the weekend of Novemer 2nd and 3rd. There is an optional parking day on Friday, November 1st.
