RIVERHEAD, NY : The new year brought about the 2019 race schedule for the 69th season of competition at Riverhead Raceway on Long Island, New York. The track will once again feature INEX sanctioned Legend Cars as a full-time class during the season.
There are 19 scheduled race dates on the calendar for the INEX Legend cars, including 2 Wednesday night specials in August. Saturday, July 13th features a 50 lap INEX Legends National Qualifier for drivers to lock in a spot at the annual championship race held this October at Cartert County Speedway in North Carolina.
Saturday, April 20th and 27th are open practice days with the season getting under on Saturday, May 4th. Weekly feature races are 20 laps in length with several 30 lap features added on several dates. Saturday, September 28th will close out the regular season and crown champions.
