BOONE, NC : Mountain View Speedway is holding their championship season finale this Saturday, November 16th and have added the Legend Cars to the schedule of classes. Racing is scheduled to begin at 2 PM and features 100 lap Enduro race to close out the 2019 schedule.
The track added the class to the last two events scheduled in October with a turnout near 20 race cars, most traveling in from 3+ hours away to compete on the 1/4 mile clay bullring. Daniel Ridenhour, of 316 Motorsports captured the checkered flag back on October 12th.
The majority of the racers are those that race at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Eastern North Carolina and Rockfish Speedway, both are non-INEX sanctioned race tracks. Mountain View Speedway gauged the interest of adding the class to their facility and have received high support that they will be running the class as often as possible in the 2020 season.
316 Motorsports this weekend is putting up $25 gift certificates to the Legend Car heat race winners and a $25 gift certificate to the night’s hard luck driver.
Saturday also features a Swap Meet from 9 AM – 1 PM at the track featuring parts from Late Models, Crate Late Models, Modifieds all the way down to drag racing and go-karts.
