25 Legend Cars hit the track for racing action on Saturday, April 15, at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Heat race winners were Ryan Shabram, Brody Rhodes, Chase Singletary, and Tyler Sealey. In the 20-lap feature, it was Andrew Patterson taking the victory with Rhodes and Sealey rounding out the top five. Full race results are below, as posted on the track’s website.
Additionally, on Tuesday evening of this week, Fayetteville Motor Speedway announced a track ban of driver Eddie Daniels “due to an altercation that occurred on the track/ within the pit area,” the post on their Facebook states. “We have been in contact with INEX and discussed the situation with their officials. INEX and FMS had both previously issued a “2-2-2” penalty for this driver for a previous altercation. With this new altercation that occurred Saturday, at this time Fayetteville Motor Speedway has made the determination to indefinitely ban INEX Legends driver Eddie Daniels from the facility. Any less of a penalty would simply not be appropriate considering the action of Mr Daniels on Saturday.”
The statement was signed by promoters David Mitchell and Shay Martin.
Legends Nation has sent a message through Facebook to Eddie Daniels to allow him to make a statement regarding this situation, and we will post if received.
