Changes to Rainout Posts on Legends Nation

Dennis Lambert in water at CMS

Hate the rain? So do we. Not only do track rainouts irritate drivers, teams, tracks, and series, they irritate media, like us here at Legends Nation. We hate having to mention an event has been canceled or postponed due to weather, however, we have to let the nation know. That being said, we are making a change here at LN regarding weather cancelations.

Rather than clog up the news stories on the website with reports of rain outs, we will instead rely on two things to make them known. First, we will post all rainout or weather canceled races on our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). Second, we have now added a column on our schedules page that will now contain a notice of rainout next to a race date. In addition, for the races that occur, we will post a link to a story within Legends Nation where we have posted the results (and a story if we have one) for that race date. That expands the usage of the schedules pages as it will allow a quick archive of which races occurred, and which were cancelled.

The new addition starts with the month of May, 2023. You can visit the page by clicking here, or clicking the schedules link in the menu system.
