Despite weather surrounding the area, Chemung Speedrome in New York was able to get their Friday, June 23, racing action in. Devin Gullo picked up the Bandolero division victory. Story below, as provided by the track.
Devin Gullo won again in the 10-lap Serendipity Ice Cream Bandolero division. He and Joey Allowatt, point leaders in their respective Bandit and Outlaw age groups, started from the front row. Allowatt led and, just at the halfway point, was adding to his lead and lapping slower cars. When Lily Gullo shifted lanes coming off turn two, Allowatt had nowhere to go but up and over her car. He retired from the race. Over the final half it was another Devin Gullo show, who easily took the win. Allowatt, the only Outlaw competing, finished third but highest in that class.
