DAVIS HOLDS ON FOR BANDIT WIN IN PHOTO FINISH

SEEKONK, Mass. — It had been a while since Parker Davis had parked in Seekonk Speedway Victory Lane, but he was able to get back to the top on Friday night. In the 15-lap Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit feature, Davis held off a late charge from Nick Uhrig Jr. to win his third race of the season – but his first since week two, after grabbing the first two of the year.

When Davis took the white flag out front, Uhrig closed in and took the bottom lane entering turn one. The two drivers went side-by-side for the final lap, with Davis edging out across the line at the finish by inches.

Sam Macedo charged to the third spot, where he would finish, with Mason Silva and Mike Hanafin finishing off the top-five. Behind them, Ryder Aguiar, Carl Satterlund Jr. and Alya Martin finished the field.

The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits will be back on the track on Friday, August 11 for another 15-lap feature. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.

VANASSE ON TOP AGAIN IN BANDOLERO OUTLAWS

SEEKONK, Mass. — There is no doubt it has been a stellar year for Ryan Vanasse Jr. so far at Seekonk Speedway in 2023. On Friday, he pocketed yet another win in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaw division, but this one didn’t come easy. Vanasse had to hold off the charges of Ben Moribito and Andrew Gomes over the final laps to take the win in the 15-lap feature.

The middle portion of the race had multiple yellows, and Moribito and Vanasse swapped the lead back and forth a few times. Once Vanasse got out front the final time, he wasn’t to be denied. He would take the win over Andrew Gomes and Moribito, who joined him on the podium at the finish.

Zachary Keith was fourth and Bryson Robidoux followed to complete the top-five. They were followed by Collin Vanasse, RJ Murphy, Brent Robidoux, Abbie Badejo and Dylan Calabro.

The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws will be back on the track on Friday, August 11 for another 15-lap feature. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.

NEWCOMB MAKES LATE MOVE FOR LEGENDS CARS WIN

SEEKONK, Mass. — With a fast car, Isaiah Newcomb was in the right place, at the right time, on Friday night in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars. Newcomb used a move in the final two laps to grab the lead away from two contenders who were racing for the top spot, then drove his fastest lap on the final lap to roll to another win.

Nicholaus Bulkeley and Brendan LaBelle battled hard for the lead in the end, but a little bit of contact sent both of them up the track, and Newcomb right by. Bulkelely and LaBelle didn’t lose much, though – they were able to finish second and third after 25 laps.

Josh Parsons and Mason Tessier finished fourth and fifth. They were followed to the finish line by Kevin Davis, Cole Robie, Richie Helger Jr., Jacob Burns and Corey Martin.

The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will be back on the track on Friday, August 11 for another 25-lap feature. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
