The inaugural BandoStock took place Saturday, August 5, at Bethel Motor Speedway in New York. Chevy Rommeney was able to drive to victory in the Bandolero division, while Alyson Smith drove across the line first in the Beginner Bandolero division feature. Smith’s win wasn’t official until Wednesday evening this week due to testing her tires for legality. The track posted on their social media the tech officials and INEX has deemed the tires legal and unaltered.
While Rommeney was able to celebrate with the unique guitar trophy on Saturday, Smith will receive a trophy presentation this weekend at intermission.
Additionally, Legends raced a National Qualifier with Eugene Drew taking the win.
