Second generation racer Mason Goodale found his way back to victory lane turning in a dominating performance in the Bock Auto INEX Bandolero Bandit 15-lap contest. Mason, the son of NASCAR WMT driver Eric won by nearly six seconds over his nearest rival. That nearest rival, championship leader Reid Halpin of Wading River charged his way back to the front after an early race incident forced him to the rear of the field in the Baldwin Automotive machine. Reid settled for second. Emmett Grattan of Southold was third in the Southold PBA entry and is knocking on the door of his first career win.
Will Sipala, grandson of Fred Sipala, a Modified driver during the Islip Speedway era survived a restart with five laps remaining in the 15-lap Bock Auto INEX Bandolero Outlaw to post his second career victory. Ben Morabito, winner of four out of the five races to date at Riverhead chased Sipala until late in the contest when he was passed for second place by Cillian Tennat of Riverhead in the Miller & Caggiano Attorney at Law entry.
