DAVIS WINS ANOTHER IN BANDOLERO BANDITS
SEEKONK, Mass. — Parker Davis added yet another victory to his Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit season on Friday night to conclude the first round of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup. Unlike the last few weeks, where they had some tight racing to the finish in the Bandits, Davis was clear sailing out front this week in the 15-lap feature event.
He advanced to round two after two victories in a row in round one of the playoffs and will be a threat for the title going forward. Mike Hanafin improved on last week’s run and finished second, while Nick Urhig Jr. settled for third. Mason Silva and Sam Macedo followed in fourth and fifth place at the finish.
Luka Dib, Carl Satterlund Jr., David Bernier, Alya Martin and Ryder Aguiar finished off the top-10. In the end, Aguiar was the one driver eliminated from playoff contention. Davis, Hanafin, Uhrig, Silva and Macedo are advancing to round two to chase the championship.

RYAN VANASSE JR GRABS NINTH WIN IN BANDOLERO OUTLAWS
SEEKONK, Mass. — For the ninth time in 2023, Ryan Vanasse Jr. added his name to the winner list at Seekonk Speedway on Friday night. In the conclusion of the first round of the Sunoco Drive For the Cup in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws, Vanasse entered the final lap in the lead. There was contact in turn three coming to the checkered flag, and Collin Vanasse crossed the line first.
But, officials deemed Collin would be docked two positions, giving Ryan the victory, Andrew Gomes second and Collin third after 15-laps. All three advanced to the next round of the championship playoffs, joined by Bryson Robidoux (fourth) and Brent Robidoux (seventh).
Dylan Calabro scored his best finish of the season in fifth, while RJ Murphy, Brent Robidoux, Brody Wakefield, Zachary Keith and Jordan Duquette finished in the top-10 spots as well. Zachary Keith was the one driver eliminated from the Bandolero Outlaw playoffs.

ISAIAH NEWCOMB ADDS ANOTHER LEGENDS CARS WIN
SEEKONK, Mass. — Isaiah Newcomb has put together quite the season so far in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars. In the second race of the first round of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup, Newcomb passed Brendan LaBelle for the lead and didn’t look back to win the 25-lap feature on Friday.
LaBelle finished second, joining Newcomb as one of the six advancing to the second round in the playoffs. Nicholaus Bulkeley was third at the finish, with Josh Parsons and Jacob Burns finishing fourth and fifth. The top-eight finishers at the end of the race were all playoff contenders.
Richie Helger Jr. in sixth is the final driver advancing to round two, joining the top-five. The two drivers eliminated on Friday were Chase Silvia and Mason Tessier, who finished seventh and eighth. Kevin Davis and Jake Silvia completed the top-10 in the race.
