Legends Cars Championship with allgrowth Ltd racer Nathan Anthony is aiming to end 2023 as a double title winner at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit next weekend, 4th/5th November, during the eagerly awaited final two rounds of the campaign.

Having already secured the inaugural Masters Cup crown in the standalone Legends Cars Elite Cup with JLM this year, contested over six rounds in support of the British Touring Car Championship, the Team F4V driver now has a great chance to also secure the Masters title in the main Championship.

Going into rounds seven and eight of the Legends Cars Championship a week from now, which will form part of the annual ‘Fireworks Finale’ event with the British Truck Racing Championship, the Horley racer is carrying good confidence after a competitive weekend last time out at Snetterton.

Heading the Masters standings, and holding realistic hopes of pushing for an overall top 10 finish in the main title battle too, First 4 Vans, Towergate Insurance, Blue Lizard, Blue Chip Warranty, Moove and Creative Funding Solutions supported Nathan is relishing the last six races of the year.

In the overall Championship, 270 points currently separate Nathan from 10th in the standings. Over the course of the Brands Hatch event, though, some 1,200 points are there for the taking so a place in the coveted top 10 is by no means out of reach.

The current season, across both the Legends Cars Championship and the sister Elite Cup, has been a memorable one for Team F4V with podium finishes and consistent front-running performances. It’s no secret there have been the occasional incidences of misfortune, but Nathan – as he always does – has persevered and delivered some fantastic drives.

Legends Cars racing is renowned for packed grids, regularly north of 30 entries, and the season finale is expected to be no exception as the various title winners are determined and some new faces are also expected to join the mix ahead of planned full-season campaigns in 2024.

Nathan Anthony:
“It’s always fantastic be racing at Brands Hatch, and not just because it’s the track closest to home! It always delivers top quality racing, it’s perfect for Legends and the support we get from the crowds is outstanding. We’ve had a strong and competitive year in the Team F4V Se-Van, and I really am hoping we can end the Championship on a real high.

“Snetterton earlier this month was a good event for us, so we are taking that confidence forward to next weekend. We’d love to finish the season inside the top 10 in the championship standings, but the main aim is to try and win the Masters Cup like we did in the Elite Cup in the summer. To end the year with two titles would be pretty special.”

Qualifying at Brands Hatch will get underway at 09.00 on Saturday, 4th November, with Heat One of round seven commencing at 10.55, Heat Two at 13.25 and the Final following at 15.40. On Sunday, 5th November, Heat One will begin at 10.00, Heat Two at 13.45 and the round eight Final at 15.50.
