Just a few days after the announcement Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Iowa will host the 2024 Bandolero Nationals on September 6 and 7, the track has announced a few race dates to allow younger racers some track time during the season.
The track will have three dates on Tuesdays during the year, which will hold races for Go Carts, Bandoleros, and Young Lion Legends. The dates are June 18, July 16, and August 6.
“Our organization is a firm believer that racing is generational,” said Hawkeye Downs Race Director, Brian Gibson, on their website regarding the announcement. “Our support of racing now is the future. We enjoy supporting young drivers who are passionate about racing. We hope they will continue to add fuel to that passion, passing it onto the next generation.”
