INEX Announces Rules Update Bulletin Regarding Bandolero Carburetors

INEX has announced on Friday, May 10, an updated rule to the 2024 INEX rulebook that will take effect on June 1, 2024. The bulletin information is below, and is also on the INEX website here.

As of June 1st, 2024, The following will be added to the Bandolero Carburetor rule (#2, page #98 of the 2024 INEX Rulebook):

A minimum main / fuel jet size will be put in place for each engine configuration (open, red plate & blue plate).

Open engine

right fuel jet = 110 / .0430”

left fuel jet = 105 / .0405”

red plate engine

both fuel jets = 112.5 / .0440”

blue plate engine

both fuel jets = 117.5 / .0465”

These jet sizes are minimums. If a Bandolero carburetor is found with fuel jets smaller than listed for each engine configuration, that driver will be disqualified. -Scott Reinhardt, INEX General Manager
