BERNIER GOES BACK TO BACK IN BANDOLERO BANDITS
SEEKONK, Mass. — David Bernier is off to one heck of a start to the 2024 season at Seekonk Speedway.
In the first four races, Bernier has finishes of second, second, first and first in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits. Friday night, in the fourth race of the season, Bernier drove away to victory for the second straight race in Seekonk’s youth division.
Bernier slid by Mason Silva for the lead early and was unchallenged for the remainder of the 15-lap distance.
Silva, a former winner this season, which was his first career win, finished second. Luka Dib, the other winner in the division this year so far, crossed the line behind them with a strong third-place finish. Jase Chaber and Carl Satterlund Jr, along with Ayla Martin, were also in the field on Friday night and followed in line across the stripe at the finish.

BRODY WAKEFIELD COMES FROM THE BACK FOR BANDOLERO OUTLAW WIN
SEEKONK, Mass. — Brody Wakefield had trouble after qualifying on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway, but the team didn’t quit. In the first round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, Wakefield had to start last in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws, driving a completely different car compared to practice and qualifying.
Wakefield started at the rear, got the cautions when he needed them, and took advantage of it all to rocket to Victory Lane. Parker Davis crossed the line in second, with Bryson Robidoux coming away with another strong run on his season, finishing in third.
A crash on the final lap going through turns three and four collected multiple top contenders in a race that was rather clean throughout the pack. A strong field of 14 cars competed in the first round of the Triple Crown on Friday night.

PARSONS BEATS BURNS FOR TRIPLE CROWN ROUND ONE WIN IN LEGENDS
SEEKONK, Mass. — Josh Parsons and Jacob Burns battled hard over the final laps in Friday’s first round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series for the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends. But, when the checkered flag went in the air, Parsons was the one celebrating in Victory Lane. Parsons beat Burns to the line after their battle to pick up the victory.
Parsons, a former Triple Crown champion, is off to a strong start in 2024. Burns had a good run himself, crossing the line second. Richie Helger Jr. worked his way into the front few and finished a strong third, with Brenden LaBelle and Mason Tessier rounding out the top-five.
Rodney Dowless Jr., Chase Silvia, Brandon Martinez, Kevin Davis and Dylan Calabro finished the top-10 spots after 30 laps.
