Legends raced on Saturday, July 13, at Winchester Speedway in Virginia. Jorjie Sweger won the feature. Read the race recap below by Brent Hottle as well as the results.
The legend cars would pull onto the speedway next. Steve Seibert Jr and Jorjie Sweger would make up the front row. The young lady, Jorjie Sweger, would get a great start and lead the field to lap one, followed by Seibert and Jeremy Hahn. The field would quickly slow on lap three, as two cars would get together in turn four and bring out the caution. There would be no change in the top three as the field went back green. Sweger would lead the field lap after lap, as Seibert would try various lines, looking for a way to the lead. Sweger would stay smooth and consistent each lap, earning her a four car lead over the field by the end of the race. Jorjie Sweger would take the win in the fifteen lap feature event. Steve Seibert Jr and Jeremy Hahn would round out the top three.
