Legends were in action at Ona Speedway (WV) on Saturday, August 3. Dale Garrett won the feature race over his brother, Jason, with Adam Jeffrey finishing third. Read the race recap and results below from the track.
The Garrett brothers put on a show in the nights 20 lap Tri-State Stoneworks INEX Legends Car feature. Dale Garrett would take the lead at the start with Jason Garrett tucking behind him in second. Jason would try for the entire race to find a way around Dale in what was a thrilling battle. As the race reached it’s final laps, Jason would even give the bumper to Dale on several occasions. The younger Garrett would hold a smooth wheel the entire race though and lead every lap as Dale Garrett claimed his second feature win in a row! Jason Garrett finished second with Adam Jeffrey third, Kenny McComas fourth, and Nate Dunlap fifth.
