Showtime Speedway Closed Rest of 2024 to be Used as an Emergency Debris Collection Center

Showtime Speedway - Florida

On Saturday, October 12, Showtime Speedway in Florida announced on their Facebook page the track would be closed the rest of the year as the facility will be turned into an emergency debris collection center.

Debris and junk from the area caused by the recent hurricanes will be hauled into the track to remove it from the local area to allow cleanup. The debris, which will be on the track and in the infield, will then be sorted and removed accordingly over the next few months.

According to the track, they are on schedule to return back to racing action in February, 2025.
