INEX Racing Series, the sanctioning body for Legend Cars and Bandoleros, has released their 2025 rulebook, which goes into effect on March 1, 2025. Along with the new rulebook, multiple changes were highlighted from the 2024 version, which are below.
LEGEND CAR:
- Legend Cars using the rear disc brake system are allowed to use an additional brake valve to regulate brake pressure to the rear brakes.
- The rear off-set rule for cars using the rear disc brake package is 6 1/2 “.
- The space between “pick-up points” when spacers are used can be no more than 3/4 “.
- As of 1/1/2025, the USLCI marked Hoosier dirt tires will not be permitted to be grooved.
BANDOLERO CAR:
- Carburetor Main Jet Minimums:
- Open Engine (No Restrictor Plate) = 110 Right / 105 Left
- RED Restrictor Plate = 112.5
- BLUE Restrictor Plate = 117.5
LEGEND CARS & BANDOLERO CARS:
- Fuel Cell foam is no longer mandatory.
