Legends were in action at Winchester Speedway (VA) on Saturday, September 14, with Justin Cunningham leading all laps on the way to the feature victory.

The final feature of the night would be for the legend car division. We would see three wide action midpack at the start of the event. During this we would see Jeremy Hahn and Jimmy Eicher spin in turn one. This would bring out the caution flag, resulting in a restart. Justin Cunningham would lead lap one over Stephen Wurtzer and Tyler Rampmeyer. As the field completed lap two, Shaun Abney would challenge and take the third position from Rampmeyer. The trio would begin a high speed chase around the speedway. This would stall on lap ten as Matt Grebe would spin in turn two and bring out the caution. Abney would get a great restart and move ahead of Wurtzer for the second position. Just as he started to set his sights on the leader, the field would once again slow on lap twelve for a spinning Ezra Burdette in turn two. Wurtzer would take the second position back from Abney on the restart. They would now once again begin to chase Cunningham around the speedway. Matt Grebe would once again spin in turn two on lap fifteen and bring out the final caution of the event. On the final restart Abney would swap positions once again with Wurtzer and slide back into the second position. Justin Cunningham would go on to lead every lap in the twenty lap main event. Shaun Abney and Stephen Wurtzer would round out the top three.
