For several years, Legend Car and Bandolero racing virtually became extinct across the entire state of Texas. However, in 2023, the Texas Independent Racing group brought a couple cars to Houston Motorsports Park’s HMP Oval Track, and started regrowing the Legend Car class in the state. Now, Legends Nation has learned Bandoleros will make their return to the same Texas track in 2025 with a full season of racing.
As first seen on a Facebook group posted by Chris Walters on Monday, November 25, Bandoleros will return to the track in 2025. Legends Nation verified with Owen Pittman, who handles Communications at the HMP Oval Track, Bandoleros will run the entire full season with their race program, joining the Legend Cars.
More information about the 2025 season of Legend Car and Bandolero racing at the HMP Oval Track will be announced in the future.
The race dates announced for the 2025 HMP Oval Track schedule are below. Bandoleros have been added on the LN Schedules chart for those dates.
