Legends raced Saturday, May 3, at Madera Speedway (CA), with Eddie Garone winning the feature. Story below by Steven Blakesley.
“Fast” Eddie Garone of Bakersfield won the 30-lap INEX Legend feature. 14-year-old Wade Boertje led the opening lap in his first appearance at Madera. Konner Kartsen of Santa Clarita made contact with Boertje into turn one, sending Karsten airborne. Both cars were able to continue.
Garone drove away from 11-year-old Miles Boertje to take the victory. Wade Boertje drove back to third over Karsten and Lillie Cook of Mariposa.
