Today, INEX Racing Series has announced dates and information for the Florida Bash stand-alone National Qualifier event as well as the 2027 Winter Nationals, which will take place February 10 – 19 at Auburndale Speedway in Florida. Legends Nation will be in Florida, covering the action with our signature LN Event Coverage.
The Florida Bash features will take place on Saturday, February 13, with two days of practice prior to, and will have feature races for all divisions. The races on that day will be for INEX Racing Series national points, and will be national qualifiers for the points divisions. The plan is to have the feature racing conclude early enough for drivers and teams to attend the NASCAR Clash at Daytona.
The Winter Nationals will feature the standard five days of racing, Monday – Friday, February 15 – 19, with a practice day the previous Sunday.
Of note, the Florida Bash replaces the Winter Showdown events that have occurred at the track the past few years. LN was informed recently by Showdown Series owner, Brad Hockaday, he was told his events that were previously agreed to for 2027 were removed from the track schedule due to a scheduling confliction (the track also informed LN this week the same as well). Hockaday is looking into options, including track location and dates, for the Winter Showdown 2027.
