Silvia, Bernier, and Uhrig Jr Win Friday at Seekonk Speedway

Legends and Bandoleros raced on Friday, July 19, at Seekonk Speedway (MA). Feature winners were Chase Silvia (Legends), David Bernier (Bandolero Bandits), and Nick Uhrig Jr. (Bandolero Outlaws).

CHASE SILVIA GRABS HIS FIRST CAREER LEGENDS CARS WIN

SEEKONK, Mass. — After winning countless events in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero divisions, Chase Silva has been looking for his first career Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars win. Friday night, in the second round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, Silvia picked the perfect night to grab the big checkered flag.

Silvia held off Josh Parsons over the final laps, who had won the last two races, to pick up his first career victory in the No. 17.

Parsons followed him to the line in second, with Jacob Burns joining them on the podium in third after the 30-lap feature. Richie Helger Jr. followed in fourth with Kevin Davis rounding out the top-five.

NICHOLAS UHRIG JR GETS HIS FIRST OUTLAW WIN

SEEKONK, Mass. — Nick Uhrig Jr. has been running consistently in the top-five in his first season in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws. As a former winner in the Bandolero Bandits, Uhrig Jr. has been getting closer and closer to getting his first career Outlaw win. Friday night, July 19, he found his way to the top spot. Uhrig Jr. took the lead and pulled away late to capture the win in the 15-lap feature.

Winning the INEX National Qualifier, Uhrig was thrilled to be in Victory Lane.  He was joined on the podium by Bryson Robidoux in second and Brody Wakefield in third. Both of those drivers have also been on the podium for much of the season. Parker Davis and Ryder Aguiar followed in fourth and fifth after the event.

Mike Hanafin, Allya Desomma, Zachary Keith, Zacarias Kelley and Abbie Badejo finished the top-10.

BERNIER GOES BACK TO VICTORY LANE IN BANDITS

SEEKONK, Mass. — David Bernier was back in Victory Lane on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Competing in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits, Bernier held off Mason Silva to hold on for another victory in his 2024 season.

New to the winner’s circle in 2024, Bernier is making it clear he’s going to be a threat not only to win races – but contend for the championship.

Silva finished second, adding yet another podium to his consistent season in the No. 31 for Helger’s Racing. Behind them, Ayla Martin celebrated on the podium for the first time in her career, finishing in third. She was followed by Carl Satterlund Jr. in fourth and Luka Dib, who unfortunately wasn’t able to compete due to a mechanical failure on the pace laps.
