PJ Evans Drives to the Victory at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl on Saturday

New London-Waterford Speedbowl - August 17 2024 - PJ Evans

Legends were back in action on Saturday, August 17, at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl (CT). Winning the Legends feature was PJ Evans. A race recap and results by the track is below.

Wade Oemcke launched out the gate from his pole position in the Legend Cars to lead lap 1, but PJ Evans had other plans for the race. He quickly got out front and ran away like he was on a mission. Riley Paul and Dylan Freeman picked off Oemcke and engaged in a battle that would last the entirety of the 25 lap affair. They would trade positions for the runner up spot lap after lap until Evans crossed the stripe with a near straightaway lead. Paul came out on top in the battle for second with Freeman finishing third.

Legend Cars (25 Laps): 1. 12X-PJ Evans[5]; 2. 91-Riley Paul[6]; 3. 05-Dylan Freeman[4]; 4. 65-Wade Oemcke[1]; 5. 7X-Patrick Smith[2]; 6. 77-Dennis Pantani[3]; 7. 15WY-Adam Forster[7]; 8. 12-Leilani Daniels[8]; 9. 18CT-Brian Strong[9]; 10. 26-Sydney Cook[10]
