Flippin’ Friday! On June 11, 2022, Legends driver Chloe Lynch went for a wild ride at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada after contact with another car sent her upside down right in front of Bruce Silver. Lynch slid on her roof across the track, hitting the wall.
Lynch did receive a fractured collar bone and bruised ribs in the incident, however, she was back racing three weeks later, running a Legends Car, Late Model Truck, and a Skid Plate Car. Her team told LN it is proof that safety gear is top priority, and can save a driver from really being injured.
Of note, Silver, who’s roof camera caught the incident, had damage to his car, however, was able to snag the win for his class in the multi-divisional race. Video credit: Bruce Silver on board.
