Legends iRacing Consoles

Legends and Bandoleros will not join iRacing and NASCAR’s move to console gaming, Legends Nation has learned.

On October 5, 2023, it was announced iRacing acquired the NASCAR Team Properties’ (NTP) exclusive simulation-style console racing games license from Motorsport Games. The license was being transferred from 704Games, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorsport Games, to iRacing, which will begin developing a NASCAR console game expected in 2025 (full press release here). This will include console games for the Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox current generation gaming systems.

With Legends being a part of the current iRacing sim gaming on Steam (PC), would U.S. Legend Cars International (USLCI) / INEX license the usage for console gaming, and possibly include Bandoleros?

“U.S. Legend Cars International and iRacing continue to have a strong relationship, with the Legend Car as one of many licensed cars on iRacing,” stated Josh Roller, Communications Manager for USLCI / INEX, to Legends Nation. “At this time, there are no plans to bring the Legend Car or Bandolero to additional video game or simulator platforms.”

While Legends and Bandoleros will not be added to the iRacing console platform games at this time, Legends are still available to race on Steam.
