From Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) PR –
An awfully rousing night of racing is back Tuesday, as the fan-favorite Awful Night presented by Bojangles returns for Round 4 of Cook Out Summer Shootout. Enter those who dare, for a night filled with remarkable racing, terribly fun games, questionable prizes and horribly stunning costumes.
Of course, it’s all in good fun. With a “talent” show and “celebrity superhero” appearances on the schedule, fans don’t want to miss this electrifying night at America’s Home for Racing.
Calling all Richards and Karens, it is your time to shine. Fans with these newly infamous names are invited to capitalize on their fame with FREE entry. A canned food donation can also score guests $2 off at the gate.
Bring out friends (or enemies) – this awfully exciting night at America’s Home for Racing is a can’t miss. Come for the racing, stay for the grand finale, an extraordinary “fireworks” show that promises to disappoint (probably).
DRIVERS TO WATCH :
Legend Car driver Jake Bollman has been anything but awful so far this season. His determination to sweep the Pro series continued Tuesday in Round 3, as he topped the competition by two car lengths. Qualifying P1 each of the first three rounds, Bollman has run away with each race, remaining perfect in his winning streak headed into Round 4.
In the Semi-Pro Division, Michael Crafton is following suit playing the game of get ahead, stay ahead. Starting in the Top 5 each race, the Tennessee wheelman continues to find his way to the front going three-for-thee in wins this season. Determined to maintain this impressive run, Crafton aims to defy the odds and continue his showcase of skill and tenacity on the track.
