Redwood Acres Raceway Temporarily Pauses Racing as Facility Becomes Calfire Base Camp

On Wednesday, July 17, Redwood Acres Raceway in California announced a temporary pause in their 2024 racing program due to local wildfires.

The track has been activated as a  CalFire Incident Management Base Camp in response to local wildfires, according to the notice by the track. All events scheduled at the facility for at least the next two weeks have been canceled and is closed to the public.

The NorCal Legend Series was scheduled to race at the track on Saturday, July 27. LN confirmed with the series their next event will now be Saturday, August 10, back at Redwood Acres Raceway.
