The NorCal Legend Series raced on Saturday, September 7, at All American Speedway in California, which was won by Cody Winchel. Race recap below as posted by the track.
Cody Winchel of Sebastopol stamped his ticket to the INEX Nationals in October at Dominion Raceway in Virginia by winning the NorCal Pressler Properties Legends feature. The 35-lap event attracted 26 entries with a 20-lap B-Main narrowing the field to 18-starters. Just one caution slowed the action when the brother and sister duo of Trey and Kylie Daniels of Fort Bragg spun in turn four.
Ukiah’s Cole Brown anchored the first 21 laps of competition before Winchel took the top spot. Brown held second for a dozen laps with a pack of challengers hounding him. Brenden Ruzbarsky of Tracy took second on lap 32 but was unable to reel in Winchel. Winchel topped Ruzbarsky, June winner Brandon White of Eureka, Henry Barton of San Fransisco, and Brown.
