2025 Winter Heat Series Dates Announced; Splitting Races Between North Carolina and Virginia

As it was seen in breaking news across Legends Nation’s social media pages on Saturday, October 26, INEX and Dominion Raceway (VA) announced during the drivers’ meeting of the 2024 Legend Car Asphalt Nationals that the 2025 Winter Heat Series would split time between North Carolina and Virginia for the first time in the winter series history.

The road course only series will feature 10 racing events over four weekends between Dominion Raceway’s road course in Virginia and Charlotte Motor Speedway’s inner road course in North Carolina. It will begin at the beginning of January, concluding at the end of the month, with a practice day and double features throughout the weekend. The second weekend will have double doubles, for four rounds total. See below for race dates.

Rounds 1 and 2

January 3 – 5, 2025: Dominion Raceway (VA) road course

Rounds 3, 4, 5, and 6 (double features both race days)

January 10 – 12, 2025: Dominion Raceway (VA) road course

Rounds 7 and 8

January 17 – 19, 2025: Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) road course

Rounds 9 and 10

January 24 – 26, 2025: Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) road course
