In a state where Legend Cars and Bandoleros were once considered extinct, Legends Nation has confirmed both classes of cars will race a full season in Texas at Houston Motorsports Park’s HMP Oval Track with INEX Racing Series sanctioning, which will give drivers national points.
Texas Independent Racing brought Legends back to HMP in 2023 with just a few cars, and in 2024, raced a full season with many races receiving double digit car counts, however, the races were not INEX sanctioned. In 2025, the group not only went the extra mile to get Legends sanctioned for the season, but also now has made Bandoleros sanctioned, bringing the small cars back to the track after a multi-year absence.
There are currently nine race dates on the 2025 schedule for both Legends and Bandoleros with every race INEX sanctioned for points. See the schedule below, and for information and questions regarding Texas Independent Racing, visit their Facebook page here.
