Today, U.S. Legend Cars International and INEX Racing Series announced multiple events that will take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) on the ROVAL road course in 2027.
The Carolina ROVAL Series will replace the Winter Heat Series in 2027, and will feature three weekends of racing action. Rounds 1 – 3 will take place January 22 – 24, rounds 4 – 6 will take place January 29 – 31, and the series will wrap up with rounds 7 – 9 on February 26 – 28 (the weekend after the Winter Nationals take place in Florida). INEX National Qualifier features will take place on January 24 and February 28. As the events in 2026 were, Legends will race on the ROVAL configuration while Bandoleros will race on the inner road course.
The ROVAL Rumble will take place August 20 – 22, with three rounds of ROVAL road course racing for Legends, with the headline event being the 2027 Bandolero Road Course Nationals on Sunday (Saturday will have one round for each Bandolero division as National Qualifier races). In 2026, for the first time in INEX Racing Series, Bandolero drivers will crown separate oval and road course champions, with the nationals taking place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, October 30 – November 1, the same weekend as the Legend Car Road Course World Finals on the LVMS road course.
All events will count towards the 2027 INEX Racing Series national points championship.
