The Thanksgiving Classic at Southern National Motorsports Park (NC) November 29 – December 1 is going to be a big event for multiple divisions, including Legends. And in the matter of an hour, all spots to race in the Legends division were filled.
Due to the amount of cars on property and space to put them, Southern National officials had to limit the Legends racing action to 50 registration spots. Registration opened at 12pm Eastern on Tuesday, October 29, and in just over an hour, all 50 spots were taken.
Below is a list of the 50 drivers that made it in to the registration. Beyond those drivers, there are four that dropped them into the event through the Road to the Classic events, and one more position will be available for the person that wins the November 2 race. Additionally, the track has a waitlist in case any teams drop out, which can be found here.
The winner of the Thanksgiving Classic Legends race automatically gets locked into the A Main of the $25K-to-win Legends event in December.
