The popular Ohio Valley Legend Car Series released their 2025 schedule of events on Tuesday, featuring 24 events across 10 tracks. Along with the schedule, several notes were released about the series and the racing in 2025.

New For 2025:
● Bourbon State Classic Weekend, May 2nd & 3rd. The Bourbon State Classic
Weekend takes the series to two new tracks, Ponderosa Speedway on Friday May
2nd and Rockcastle Speedway on Saturday May 3rd. The Weekend will not only
pay Series and INEX points but will have its own points system kept across both
days and crown an inaugural Bourbon State Classic Champion
● Indiana’s Lawrenceburg Speedway has two dates. In 2025, the singular visit to the
Indiana ⅜ Mile brought the highest car count of the season. “The Burg” is back for
two dates, Saturday May 17th and Saturday August 2nd
● Memorial Day Weekend features 3 Full Nights at 3 Different Tracks. Diversity
abounds in the series once again in 2025 as Memorial Day Weekend takes teams
to MRP Raceway Park on Friday May 23rd, Florence Speedway on Saturday May
24th and 35 Raceway Park on Sunday May 25th
● 2025 Champion will be crowned at Florence Speedway in Union, KY on Saturday
September 20th. The series uses a NASCAR style Championship finale where the
top 4 in year long points are set equal and the highest finisher in the main event
wins the championship. This will be the first time Florence Speedway has hosted
the championship race.
● All races in 2025 will pay out some form of prize money. In years past, the series
had swapped a purse for two free pit passes at select venues. That is now gone
and every event has some form of payout.
5 Events have boosted purses:
5/2/25 – Ponderosa Speedway – $750 to Win/$125 to Start
5/3/25 – Rockcastle Speedway – $400 to Win/$80 to Start
7/3/25 – Brushcreek Motorsports Complex – $400 to Win/$80 to Start
8/1/25 – MRP Raceway Park – $500 To Win/TBA to Start
8/29/25 – MRP Raceway Park – $1,000 to Win/TBA to Start
Returning in 2025:
● Jackson County Speedway in Jackson, OH is back on the Schedule for Friday
June 6th. After going through troubled times with ownership woes, new owners
Brandon and Brittany Conkel have made major improvements to the ¼ mile and
look forward to hosting the series for the first time in several years
