Legends Nation Returns with Event Coverage of the Complete 2025 Cook Out Summer Shootout Series

Legends Nation (“LN”), the premier Legend Car and Bandolero news and information source internationally, announces the return to Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) for full event coverage of the 2025 Cook Out Summer Shootout. LN will be on site for all 10 rounds of the 32nd annual event during the summer, taking photos, posting results, and video interviews with race winners and more.

Legends Nation was launched in 2007, run by Jason Stix Buckley under the 51 Sports banner after his 10-plus years of covering Legends and Bandoleros under his Motorsports Lounge community discussion forum website. In 2010, the site went under his own STIX FX Entertainment brand, and continued to grow as the go-to source for news and information nationally for the INEX-sanctioned race cars. In 2015, the site was turned over to his friend, Brian Nagy, as Buckley’s career path took him up to the NASCAR level of Public Relations. Nagy, in conjunction with a production company, launched Legends Nation TV, streaming various live events online, however, when that concluded, the site went dark. Buckley reacquired ownership in 2023, relaunching the website with a vision of growing the brand globally.

Along with posting Legends and Bandolero news and race results from thousands of events yearly at approximately 200 race tracks in over 10 different countries, Legends Nation returned to the track in 2024 with personal coverage of various events, including returning to the famed Summer Shootout Series for the season-finale event.

Now, Legends Nation will be back for the first time in years for all 10 rounds of the largest series for Legends and Bandoleros.

“It is exciting to have Legends Nation return for all 10 rounds of the Summer Shootout this year,” said Buckley. “LN is respected by drivers, teams, tracks, series, fans, and other media entities for our high-quality, entertaining, and professional non-biased coverage of the sport for years. When the site went offline and the coverage stopped, there was a massive void for those in the sport. When I reacquired ownership in 2023, I decided to go full force into bringing back the content everyone was used to having, including adding global coverage. With a few personal LN Event Coverage events over the last year and a half, we are finally heading back to the Shootout for all 10 rounds, and I cannot be any more excited.”

Buckley will have a team of passionate and knowledgeable journalists covering this season’s racing action on the Charlotte Motor Speedway quarter-mile oval. LN Senior Journalist, Lindsey Marks, who has been around the sport for many years and once was a part of Legends Nation’s coverage team over 10 years ago, returns and will be at some of the events. Additionally, Reporter Zach Wyatt, who worked with Marks and Buckley on the 3 Aces Media project formed in 2018, will be at all 10 rounds of the Shootout. Buckley will attend select events while continuing to manage Legends Nation, as well as parent company, STIX FX Entertainment.

“Zach is our local guy that will be at all 10 rounds of the Shootout,” explained Buckley. “Many will know him from the 3 Aces Media days, and it is great to have him on board to be our main guy all series. With myself currently in Texas and Lindsey in Tennessee, we both will be traveling to North Carolina for some of the events as schedules allow. All three of us will be at the opening two rounds to kick off the series in June.”

Legends Nation just finished up coverage of the 2025 Spring Nationals in Tennessee, and before that, was in Florida for two weeks for the Winter Showdown Series and Winter Nationals. LN will also be at all four Nationals events later this year as well as select events throughout the season, including the first trip to Alaska for the Lance Mackey Memorial event in July.
