The Kyle Busch Invitational Benefiting the Bundle of Joy Fund Scheduled for August 21 with LN Event Coverage

The Kyle Busch Invitational Benefiting the Bundle of Joy Fund

The Kyle Busch Invitational Benefiting the Bundle of Joy Fund, featuring Legends and Bandoleros racing, will take place on Friday, August 21, at Bowman Gray Stadium (NC), and Legends Nation will be there with full LN Event Coverage.

Today, INEX Racing Series announced the event, which will feature 51 Legends and 18 Bandoleros, the numbers made famous by Busch during his racing career. The event will be by invitation only, according to a metric released by the series below. Legends Nation will be at the entirety of the event, providing photos and video interviews of those at the special event.

Additionally, the LN Event Coverage for The Kyle Busch Invitational will not be seeking sponsors for coverage. Instead, Legends Nation encourages the Nation to, if you can, donate to The Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund, which is dedicated to advancing access to IVF care and coverage, increasing awareness and providing support so others don’t have to navigate infertility alone. To date, 178 grants have been awarded with over $2 million in funds granted with 111 babies born.

“Kyle was a big supporter of Legends Nation over the years,” said Jason Stix Buckley, owner of Legends Nation. “Him and I had a great rapport at and away from the track dating back many years ago when I covered other forms of short track racing. We were there for his return to Legend Car racing last year in Florida, and he told us earlier this year he was going to race the entire Summer Shootout Series to try and win all 10 rounds and the championship, and the National title was also on his radar before his passing. His loss is still felt worldwide, in the motorsports industry, and in our world of racing. We are proud to call Kyle Busch and the Busch family friends of Legends Nation, and honored to cover this event at such an iconic facility, benefiting the Bundle of Joy Fund.”

According to the release by INEX, top five points finishers in the Legend Car Pro, Semi-Pro, Masters, and Young Lions Division during the 2026 Cook Out Summer Shootout are automatically locked into the Legend Car field, as well as any driver who won a Legend Car feature in those four divisions outside of the top five in points.

Additional invites will be extended to any past Legend Car INEX National Champions on Asphalt, Dirt, or Road Course, as well as any past INEX Championship National Feature Race winners from Legend Car Asphalt Championship Nationals, Legend Car Dirt Championship Nationals, or Road Course World Finals.

Bandolero invites will be extended to the top five championship finishers at Summer Shootout from the Bandits and Outlaws Divisions, as well as any Bandit or Outlaw driver who won a feature race during Summer Shootout who didn’t finish in the top five in points. Final invites will be reserved for past INEX Bandolero National Champions and past Bandolero Championship Nationals Feature Race winners in the Bandit or Outlaw divisions.
