The inaugural Earnhardt Outdoors Showdown, featuring Legend Cars, will take place on Thursday, May 25, in the west district of downtown Kannapolis, North Carolina. Grand Marshall Kerry Earnhardt, and his Earnhardt Outdoors brand, along with other partners, are putting on the event in the home town of one of racing’s biggest last names: Earnhardt.
Drivers previously announced to attend include Noah Gragson, Sean Hingorani, Austin Hill, Stefan Parsons, Daniel Suarez, Joel Smith, Jadyn Daniels, Emily Arenas, Nathan Lyons, Alex McCollum, Lanie Buice, Graham Smith, Josh Speas, and Lucas Vera.
According to a post by U.S. Legend Cars International / INEX, the event will be a time trial street race. Drivers will confirm the course at noon (with any adjustments to be made), followed by pre-race entertainment at 2:30pm, a parade at 5pm, and the Earnhardt Outdoors Showdown beginning at 5:15pm.
