Legends driver Blake Elmore is recovering after a practice crash at Sunny South Raceway in Alabama sent him to the hospital on Saturday, September 16.
During practice, a mechanical issue occurred with Elmore’s ride, sending him hard into the front stretch wall. He was taken to a local hospital where it was determined he has fractures on his left leg.
His father, William, told Legends Nation on Sunday evening he is sore, but is ok, and will be going to the orthopedic Monday morning. Blake is ready to get his car fixed so he can get back on track next season.
