Ownership Heading Back to Jason “Stix” Buckley
A note from “Stix” –
In 2007, I was brought on board with 51 Sports to help launch a news and information website featuring Legends Car and Bandolero racing, something I had been following, taking photos of, and videos of since the mid-1990s (including recording the first-ever Bandolero race). LegendsNation.com (LN) was birthed under their banner, and quickly became the news media source for the scale cars, bringing national attention to the drivers, teams, tracks, and series of USLCI / INEX racing. In 2010, LN moved under my own company, STIX FX Entertainment, growing even more and gaining international notoriety.
After a shift in my career direction, being hired out from my own company by a client, I turned LN over to Brian Nagy, who was a freelance journalist for LN. Brian’s tenure as owner of LN saw the evolution of live video coverage of the sport, which got the attention of many in the industry, such as USLCI / INEX themselves. When they decided to launch their own live video platform, along with Brian’s change in career and location, LN was forced to go dark, ending an era. However, after our discussions starting in 2022, LN is now back under my ownership, allowing me to bring back the respected name to the industry.
Over the coming months, I will be working on the new LN direction and website, blending in old ideas with new news media and social media trends, as well as a few concepts I have been bouncing around. For now, the website address points to our new LinkTree that ports all of our social channels together in one place for ease of access. Keep following along for things to trickle in periodically, and make sure to continue to follow, like, and share LN content.
