A cool, new event made it’s debut on Thursday, May 25, in the streets of Kannapolis, North Carolina, hometown to many racers like the Legends Million winner Daniel Hemric, and the entire Earnhardt racing family. The Earnhardt Outdoors Showdown, which was hosted by NASCAR driver and outdoorsman, Kerry Earnhardt (son of the late Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and brother to Dale and Kelley Earnhardt), took place in the closed-off western district of Kannapolis as a time trial course.
At the end of the event, it was Lucas Vera setting the best course time, taking the victory. Austin Hill and Noah Gragson took second and third, rounding out the podium finishers.
