60 Legend Car Pro division Road Course drivers raced during the 2024 INEX season. Today Jase Mongeon was officially announced as the 2024 National Champion.
Mongeon entered the Legend Car Road Course World Finals at VIRginia International Raceway (VA) in November with just a three-point lead over Arto Ojaranta. Devin O’Connell was third in points, just 18 points back of the lead. In the race, none of the drivers had the outcome they were looking for. Having issues, Ojaranta and O’Connell finished 21st and 22nd, the final two spots in the field. Meanwhile, Mongeon crossed the finish line in 10th, which wasn’t great, however it was good enough to win the 2024 season points championship. O’Connell ended up just a mere five points behind. Kamper earned third in the national standings. Ojaranta and O’Connell finished up the points season in second and third.
