From Racing America –
Southern National Motorsports Park and Racing America have reached a broadcasting agreement, making RacingAmerica.TV the broadcast home for the 2024 Thanksgiving Classic and Southern National’s inaugural $25,000-to-win Legend Race presented by Carolina Family Pool & Patio.
Both the Thanksgiving Classic and the $25,000-to-win Legend Race will be available for RacingAmerica.TV subscribers.
“I am excited about the continued growth of The Thanksgiving Classic and Southern National’s Partnership with Racing America,” said Michael Diaz of Southern National Motorsports Park.
“With the addition of the $25k Carolina Family Pool and Patio Legend Race on December 7, it is looking to be an exciting end of 2024.”
The 24th Thanksgiving Classic is scheduled for November 29-December 1 at Southern National. The three-day event is one of the biggest in Late Model Stock Car racing, with a history dating back to 1998.
Past winners of the Thanksgiving Classic include past and present NASCAR Cup Series competitors such as Scott Riggs, Denny Hamlin and Josh Berry. Last year, Brenden Queen won the Thanksgiving Classic in one of the most thrilling finishes in the event’s history.
While the Thanksgiving Classic is steeped in history, Southern National has a brand-new special event for 2024. The $25,000-to-Win Carolina Family Pool and Patio Legends Race scheduled for December 7 will draw Legends cars competitors to the Lucama, North Carolina 4/10-mile oval for the shot at a huge prize.
