A huge field of Legend Cars raced on Friday, June 9, at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota. Preston Martin, after a mid-week victory at Southwest Speedway, had planned on racing Friday at Dacotah Speedway, however, a late afternoon rainout at the track crushed those plans, opening up the opportunity to race at Red River. Pulling into the track a few minutes before the racing action, the Martin Racing team was able to breathe a little as the rains came, forcing a few hour delay, giving them time to prep for the race. When racing started, Martin finished second in his heat, started 12th in the feature, driving to the lead in 12 laps to take the victory. Ryan Braseth and Evan Hendrickson rounded out the top three.
